How many exhibitors are there and where are they from?

Visitors will have the opportunity to see three shows in one with over 600 exhibitors.  The International Sourcing Expo Australia has over 200 exhibitors from countries such as India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Fiji, New Zealand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, South Africa and more. The co-located China Clothing and Textiles Expo has 250+ exhibitors from China. Exhibitors will showcase the latest in apparel, textiles, accessories, homewares, manufacturing accessories and more.  Also co-located is the Footwear and Leather Show which will feature 200 exhibitors showcasing footwear and leather accessories.

Who can attend?

The International Sourcing Expo Australia is a Trade Only Event.

Entry is restricted to people involved in the clothing, textiles, fashion, homewares and footwear industries. Business ID may be required upon entry eg. business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN.

Some examples of who can attend: wholesalers, importers, suppliers, retail chain stores, private brands, agents, manufacturers and distributors.

Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead, payslip or company documentation containing your company ABN (this could be a company bill, company order, company registration certificate). You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification. All visitors must be able to provide proof they either work or operate the company used in registration.

Those not involved in a relevant industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered. Visitors failing to abide may be asked to leave the venue.

The Organiser reserves the right at their discretion to deny or withdraw access to non-approved persons.

How much does it cost to visit?

The International Sourcing Expo Australia is free to attend for all bona fide trade visitors. Visitors must work within the clothing, textiles, fashion and footwear industries. Business identification is required to validate entry.

Tuesday 14 November 2017       10am-5pm

Do I need to register to attend as a Visitor?

Yes, all visitors must register if they want to attend the Expo. You may register online or you can register for the Expo when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register online.

Can I still attend if I have not pre registered before the International Sourcing Expo?

Yes. You are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter near the entrance to the Expo. We recommend you pre-register so that you can avoid any queues. All registrations will require business identification.

What do I need to bring as business identification?

Relevant identification includes: business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN.

Can students attend?

Students enrolled in fashion/textiles/footwear studies at a tertiary level may attend the Expo. Students are not required to register.

Course Administrators must apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the event in order to bring class groups to the Expo. Email sourcingvisitor@iecgroup.com.au. Student badges are issued onsite from the Visitor Registration desk.

Are child minding facilities available?

No. These facilities are not available at the venue. Children are not permitted entry.

Where is the International Sourcing Expo being held?

The Expo is being held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.

How do I get to the venue?

The International Convention Centre Sydney is centrally located and well serviced by public transport.

Do I need a visa to visit Australia?

Most international visitors to Australia will require a visa to enter the country. For Government details on visas visit the Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au.

Remember if you need to make a visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.

The Organiser does not provide assistance with visa applications for visitors to the Expo.

Can I exhibit at the International Sourcing Expo?

If you are an international factory or non Australian based export company, you may be eligible to exhibit at the Expo.
