Milou Ket is a world-renowned stylist with unique and extensive experience as concept designer and as consultant in retail, buying, and the creation of collections. With her international scope and forward thinking vision, she is known for her insights in emerging trends for the immediate future, translated and applied in a practical as well as an aesthetic manner. Colours, atmosphere, style, prints, materials and designs are all incorporated in a harmonious entity.

She publishes annual books on trends for fashion, interiors and the design aspects of innovation for the near and more distant future.

Milou Ket publishes in numerous national and international magazines. She visits important fairs and worldwide capitals to be informed. Milou Ket is an international speaker at fairs in New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Istanbul, Dubai and Shanghai. She has been several times before in Sydney and Melbourne to inform and inspire at the Design and Furniture fair. Milou Ket worked before for the Dutch Fashion Institute. She is quite allround and has experience with composing and coordinating print and fabric collections, but also with knits, garment styles and accessories.

In her trend seminar in Melbourne during the International Sourcing Fair, she will speak about shifts in retail, about innovations in yarns, fabrics and confection techniques. She will show the colours and prints that will influence and contribute to the total concept of Women Trends for Summer 2017.

She will show several themes, accompanied by colour cards and colour combinations, and the prints, fabrics and styles that will go with these directions. Colour and prints have her special interest. She will show images of designers, but also will pay attention to popular street styles. Her images will be a source of inspirations for designers, stylists and buyers.
