International Panel Discuss Hot Topics In Global Sourcing

22/10/2019 2019 Seminars

Join this exciting, fast-paced panel discussion as facilitator, Patty Huntington, asks three industry experts key questions to help you discover more about the world of sourcing. Topics will include; sustainability, tips for liaising and maximising relationships with manufacturers and suppliers and what you should be prepared for in the world of sourcing for 2020 and beyond.

Sustainability in fabric and garment manufacturing is important to many consumers, buyers and designers. What considerations do companies need to make when looking at sustainability in their business, whether large or small, startup or well-established.

Freight, transport fees, and quality control are common issues when dealing with manufacturers and suppliers. What do managers and decision makers need to be aware of and how can they mitigate these issues?

Overseeing sourcing decisions within a company often involves sourcing from multiple countries, for multiple product lines. How do you sourcing and supply chain managers make effective decisions?
