  • Who will be exhibiting at International Sourcing Expo?

    Exhibitors from around the world, but primarily from Asia will showcase their finished product, manufacturing, service and design capability.  Exhibitors will include large companies through to SMEs. There is opportunity for Australian and New Zealand buyers focused on volume sourcing as well as start-up companies interested in accessing smaller volumes.

    The exhibitor list will be available closer to the Show.

  • What will be on display at the International Sourcing Expo?

    Exhibitors will showcase the latest in apparel, textiles, fashion accessories, home textiles, fabric and more.

  • Will there be any seminars at the Expo?

    Yes. A major feature of the event is the extensive Global Sourcing Seminar program which is always heavily subscribed by visitors. Attendance for the sessions is both paid and free and pre-registration is essential. Keep checking our website for more details of the seminar program to be incorporated into this year’s event. These provide great value-added activities for you to engage in whilst attending the Expo.

  • International Sourcing Expo Australia is a Trade Only Event.

    Entry is restricted to people involved in the clothing and apparel, textiles, fashion, homewares and footwear industries. Business ID may be required upon entry e.g. business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a driver’s licence to substantiate your identification. All visitors must be able to provide proof they either work for or operate the company used in registration.

    Some examples of who can attend include: wholesalers, importers, suppliers, retail chain stores, private brands, agents, manufacturers and distributors.

    Those not involved in a relevant industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is prohibited. No photography or sketching is permitted. Students will not be registered unless they attend with prior permission of the Organiser and upon registration by the course administrator.

    The Organiser reserves the right at their discretion to deny or withdraw access to non-approved persons.


  • How much does it cost to visit?

    Entry is free for all bona fide trade visitors. Visitors must work within the apparel and clothing, textiles, fashion and footwear industries. Business identification is required to validate entry.

  • When is the International Sourcing Expo open?

    Tuesday 12 November 2019 10am-5pm

    Wednesday 13 November 2019 10am-5pm

    Thursday 14 November 2019 10am-4pm

  • Do I need to register to attend as a Visitor?

    Yes, all visitors must register if they want to attend the Expo. You may register online or you can register for the Expo when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register online.

  • Can I still attend if I have not pre-registered?

    Yes. You are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter. We recommend you pre-register to avoid any queues. All registrations will require business identification.

  • What do I need to bring as business identification?

    Relevant identification includes: business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN.

  • Can students attend?

    Students enrolled in fashion, textiles, footwear studies at a tertiary level may attend the Expo. Students are not required to register.

    Course Administrators must apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the event in order to bring class groups to the Expo. Email

    Student badges are issued onsite from the Visitor Registration desk.

  • Are child minding facilities available?

    No. These facilities are not available at the venue. Children must be under adult supervision at all time.

  • Where is the International Sourcing Expo being held?

    The Expo will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Australia .

  • How do I get to the venue?

    Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre is centrally located and well serviced by public transport.

  • Do I need a visa to visit Australia?

    Most international visitors to Australia will require a visa to enter the country. For Government details on visas visit the Department of Home Affairs site at

    Remember that if you need to make a visa Application ensure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.

    The Organiser does not provide assistance with visa applications for international visitors to the Expo. International visitors are welcome to attend but should ensure that they are pre-registered and have relevant supporting business credentials with them at all times during the expo. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or withdraw entry at any time and will not be held liable for any matters relating to visas, expenses incurred or travel arrangements.

  • Can I exhibit at the International Sourcing Expo?

    If you are an international manufacturer or exporter you may be eligible to exhibit at the expo.
